Right now it is raining outside, but the forecaster is promising us that Halloween night will be fine for Trick-or-Treaters. The yard is ready, with just a few things to do on Saturday. Take a look at the pictures below, and come by to see on on October 31st!
The Storm Before The Storm – 2015 setup
Last night began what promises to be several days of stormy weather. So I’ve been rushing to get most of the yard set up before the deluge. As a result, I haven’t’ taken many pictures yet. Expect more after things dry out late this weekend!
On Target for 2015
It seemed like it took forever for Target stores to get rid of their back-to-prisonschool stuff and make room for Halloween. But they finally got the shelves stocked with spooky goodness this last weekend in our neighborhood stores. I was lucky enough to snag a skeleton at 20% off, through the Cartwheel app. HOwever I was a bit annoyed that the discount was only good until that Saturday. Still, if you don’t have the app, you may want to check it out. You can still find deals on Halloween candy now, and maybe more later!

Home Depot 2015
Home Depot has been a standout this year for having the cheapest skeletons around – $29.98. But they also have a lot of lighting effects and animated characters. ScreaminScott says “Dig it up” at Home Depot!
Yankee Candle 2015
The smells of Halloween are in the air at Yankee Candle stores across the land.
Pottery Barn – Silver and Glass Halloween 2015
For a wonderful mix of macabre and elegance, take a look at the offerings from Pottery Barn this year!
Jo-Ann Fabrics – Halloween 2015
Jo-Ann Fabrics is another great arts and crafts store that carries Halloween merchandise. I particularly liked the miniatures, skeletons selection, and party supplies.

Halloween “At Home” – The videos
Previously, I posted about the “At Home” home decor stores. My son and I headed back to the store recently to take video of some of the animated decorations. Personally, I had a blast!

Michael’s – Part 2
I dropped by the local Michaels arts and crafts store, and was pleased to see they had a lot more Halloween goodies out on the shelves. There were still a few bare spots, and the Spooky Town miniatures weren’t out yet. But there were still a lot of things to gawk at. I was impressed that there seemed to be less glitter and more classy Halloween decor this year.
