Haunters tend to look at every holiday as an opportunity for finding new ideas for Halloween. Easter, with it’s cute bunnies and colorful eggs, offers little that can be turned dark and gothic. But if you look closely, and use your imagination, you can find some ideas for those plastic eggs so prevalent this time of year.
Martha Stewart has surprisingly good Halloween ideas. Here at Stonehaven Manor, we’ve used the spider egg sac idea. This picture uses a plastic egg instead of the styrofoam ball in Martha’s instructions.
A little hot glue and other materials give you a neat Dragon’s Egg for your medieval theme haunt or party.
If you are trying out an Egyptian Mummy costume, add some of these scarab beetles. These use foam eggs instead of plastic ones.
Every Halloween party needs party favors. Whether these Skull Party Favors contain candy or something more disgusting… well, that’s up to you!
Finally, you can use the plastic eggs as molds for these edible Gelatin Eyes.
